Tell us about your music career!
I have been an oboist, educator and performer for 57 years! hannahsoboes is celebrating 22 years.
Why did you decide to open your shop?
I started the business because my parents couldn’t afford an oboe for me in high school. I want to help oboists access fine quality instruments at affordable prices.
What is your favourite Howarth oboe and why?
I love the new mopane oboes and the new S30c Cor Anglais is lovely. Howarth listens to players and professionals and are always interested in manufacturing the very best instruments.
